As it was said before a smart city involve many areas and its important to think about in all of them for the smart city to work as it should, even if you think an area is not as relevant as the other ones, as the author said “It is a pyramid, if you remove a piece of the base the rest collapses” as simple as that, if an area is doesnt working well, the other ones can colapse or stop working in the best way.
Also its important to have experts in each topic, and traines people to each position. Have good logistic, planning and design of each system.
The author finds it interesting how UX design can be implemented in many possible ways within a smart city, it could be implemented within the urban planning area, the planning of the streets and green areas so that way, people can have a great experience while they are walking through our city. It’s interesting the many possible combinations with this tool called UX, and it’s considerate as a good idea as a trap for users to get involved in the various systems in which the creators of the smart city create.
It also seems relevant to be able to create experiences through common areas and cultural buildings such as museums, schools and historical centers.
It is important that the citizens of the smart city feel comfortable within it, that they implement new technologies, innovations and new advances implemented in their day to day, not just one day at year, we need citizen interest on what are happening on their cities and also interest on being part of the city, using al this cultural aspects and common areas in which they can feel involved in their city every day.
